The IIT JAM exam is conducted every year for admission in MSc, Ph.D. or integrated courses in IITs, NITs or IISc institutes.

The IISc Bangalore is going to to conduct the upcoming JAM 2021 exam on 14th February and the candidates can fill IIT JAM Application form at JOAPS portal from 10th Sep to 15th October through online mode.
This year economics subject is also added in the exam, therefore the IIT JAM exam will be conducted for 7 subjects- Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geology, Economics and Mathematical Statistics.
To apply for IIT JAM exam, the candidates must have fulfilled all the eligibility criteria and keep ready all the documents and information required during the registration process.
Follow the steps given below to apply for the exam-
Go to the official Joaps website and register by providing the email id and personal phone number.
Login with your enrolment number and password and fill in all the details (name, address, educational details, and submit to the next step.
Confirm and go to the payment process. Choose the payment mode, fill in your payment details (card number, password etc.) and pay the required fees.
You will get a successful message after the successful completion of the process.
Save or download a copy of your application form for future reference.
The exam conducting authority also provided an option to apply for more than one subject to the candidates.
The candidates can apply for multiple subjects which will be conducted in different shifts by paying some extra fees.
One important thing that candidates must keep in mind is that you should check the application form very carefully before the final submission.
The candidates will be allowed to change the gender, subject option and category once paying some extra fees till the application process ends.
In case your payment gets stuck at any step due to some technical error, you should wait for 24 hrs and then contact officials at the earliest.
